Long, there's nothing 'potential' or 'may' about your downside, as it's a simple fact that it will take much longer to get to 248 events than it would have to 110. However, that's not downside... that's insurance: the longer it takes, the better. Downside is an early end due to a total events stoppage. I'm going to have to dig up some KM's to see if I can guestimate the difference in median, but I won't be shocked to find an additional 6 month OS median in the modified (71% of total n) as compared to the original (46%) protocol. Great news.
