If that kind of an approach worked then why not say we will only do 10,000,000 a quarter and then expect a huge bump on the actual earnings call. All this will do is make them look stupid, like they don't know what is going on in their own company and the pps will suffer overall even with the bumps created by announcements. The announcement won't have nearly the impact as they otherwise would.
