It is not the metal which needs to be tamed.
How many people made money from PT Barnum after he sucked them into his tent? At least he was good at what he did. Can't say that for management and the people in this menagerie that wear rose-colored spectacles.

It is business people who know that business is the practice of making money. How many business people, say investment bankers, are invested in Liquidmetal? ZIP, NADA. Real business people invest in what makes money.

Even Edison, the world's greatest inventor and also investor, had to give up on his insistence the direct current utility plants (his invention) was the only way to go. After JP Morgan pulled out all of his money and moved it to Westinghouse (alternating current) the winning producer of money and return on investment, Edison got smart and made a joing venture with the guys (Thompson) making money on AC.

Steipp, by keeping the company in a very niche market is losing out to many other competitors.

There will be a big surprise real soon, but it will not be Steipp and Company. It will be with Johnson, or Schroers or the other inovators of amorphous metals that are thinking outside of Steipp's box.
