I will find out in the near future anyway.

There is a procedure in place when the government stops a company from mining their mineral claims (in BC) and that involves (amongst other things) a govt geo that does fieldwork & desktop studies to prepare a valuation report on the company's claims. The report is then discussed and a certain amount of money is proposed to the junior miner. If the co does not accept it (i.e. considers that it is worth MORE money) then it would go to Court.

Your example is about 10 BIG mines. The Fraser placer mine would be small by any standards.
