If they really want to be a part of the whole "fantasy sports" theme, then they need to just get their foot in the door with Roto and become a part of that somehow. Either that, or create their own site that attracts fans.
I'm only a fan of baseball myself, so the other sports I can't really speak about, but Rotoworld (Roto) is pretty much the best out there at the moment in terms of news. I also use Cots for contract/service time info. Any updates with Roto are immediate, and you can typically get news before anyone else there. That, and of course some insider twitter feeds, though it normally doesn't take long for those to leak.
As for Inergetics and the Surgex brand, I could see them coming up with a unique website that allows for both news, as well as fan forums for interaction. Instead of the site being too heavy on outside advertising, they could simply promote their Surgex line of products.
I would have to agree that the current site doesn't cut it.
