i believe that God instills in every human the ability to know right from wrong. Even from a very young age children know and learn right from wrong. With everything that pops in our heads i believe that the majority of the time we know very well whether it be word or thought or action...we know if what we are about to partake in is right or wrong. Now...there are times in life that we can be unclear about a few things lets say stemming from one of a blue zillion laws we have...but for the most part we know right from wrong. So with that said...we hear people say sometimes that they have a problem choosing right over wrong for such and such reason...so they break the human laws because they dont think it is really a big deal. You know like speeding or running a red light...ect. But more importantly we sometimes hear people that profess to be a born-again christian say that they have a problem with sin. That they sin all the time...daily...the same sins over and over because they just cant help it. Or we hear folks justify their sin by saying that God knew we were going to sin all the time thats why He sent Jesus. We even hear folks sometimes say well im just a sinner saved by grace and God knows im going to sin a lot so its really not a big deal...i just cant help it. Not a big deal and i cant help it...Really? Have we become so laid back and complacent that we think in Gods eyes that our sinning often or all the time is not a big deal? Now folks...im not perfect...im a long ways from it...i do sin from time to time but i like to think in my walk with Jesus that when i do sin it dont amount to much but i know in Gods eyes sin is sin. So whats my long winded point. If we are sinning everyday because we THINK we cant help it...if we are thinking ...well ive got my ticket to heaven punched so i can sin and ask forgiveness and sin and ask forgiveness and sin and ...well...thats not how it works folks. The full biblical definition of repentance is a change of mind that results in a change of action. So if we have fallen in the trap of thinking its ok to sin everyday...all the time..and we can just say forgive me and be off to the next sin...we better stop and rethink our walk with Jesus....Just sayin!
