In my experience ..in addition to cash ...offer stock options on AMRN. I've done this myself when I was a CEO

If I was in AMRN mgt I would want the board to authorize stock options to all sales reps , whether at AMRN or KOWA ( those selling Vascepa ) .
Number of options tied to performance .

I would then organize a sales meeting of all sales reps ( probably video meeting ) and make the following pitch .

" We are about 1 yr away from an important data read out on our Reduce It trial .
We need to ramp up sales until then to ensure we don't need outside funding
We will issue you options based on your sales .
These options will be yours to sell once Interim data is released .
The option package will be designed for you to make at least $100,000 if the interim data in 2016 is good enough to halt the Reduce it trial....provided your monthly sales are higher at the end of the year
Amount of options will be tied to sales performance with the package design to offer the potential of $500,000 if RI is halted at interim....for the top sales rep ...but anyone that increases sales should make at least $100,000 extra "

Zip ...I did a similar thing in my Co ...small sub capt S corp in CA ...gave stock to my key guys ...made them stake holders ...and performance bonus's per job to the work crews.
Results ...equipment stop getting "lost " . Less no shows on work days , higher quality work , clients happier .
