At this juncture they are sending 14 different candidates (E2) to USAMRID and the army is supposed to narrow that down to the best 3 or 4. If the winning sample is effective in animal studies, there is apparently a doctor in Sierra Leonne that Dr Seymour has contacted who is ready to offer it to a small trial of 25 or so humans. (under emergency conditions).

If the animal studies are effective, remember the cides are agnostic to host, I would give this much better than 1 in 4 in human trials.

Assuming the SL trials work, it would still have to be run through FDA protocols, but in the meantime, there is probably about $200 million in grant money sitting around and available. And if it works where others have failed, it is safe to assume that people will stand up and notice. At some point NNVC will manufacture enough to meet world supply or pass, based on government responses. Remember, even if Ebola is not a current threat at that point, governments will want a stockpile of serum, so there is still a market.
