Everyday folks aren't intellectuals - they make their choices based upon cost. How can you explain why we buy everything we use from China? Now there are no jobs in the US, but we keep buying the lowest cost producer. The labor is free in China. The war on transportation fuel will be won by the lowest cost producer.
