Smiths Falls site of PSFDH welcomes special visitors

Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital is hosting a group of front-runners in world health and hospital design today.

Kallo Inc. will be visiting the Smiths Falls Site to learn best practices for hospital site redevelopment. Representatives will meet with hospital officials, who will help them as they develop a hospital in Africa.

The group will also be provided with insight regarding the inner workings of PSFDH, including administration, food services, obstetrical services and everything in between.
The site visit will allow for PSFDH leaders to share the ins and outs of hospital redevelopment. The African hospital will be built in a modular fashion here in Canada, then dis-assembled and shipped to Africa.

Hospital President and CEO Beverley McFarlane, says her hospital has a number of great things to showcase as industry best practices, and they welcome the Kallo leaders for the tour.
