hey skillz- here is my........
..
review of idol so far this week..
shannon- too shreaky for me, but ok, and she got through..
the next few girls had short clips and went too fast, but 2 were good, one not good, but all 3 got through..
venessa- an emotional girl but good, and great stage presence. she makes it through.
zach- super hyper but very good. just needs some polishing and he is very funny! refreshing really. they grilled him and embarrassed him and i agreed with their comments, and he goes through
aaron- yuck! mousy AND super quiet, but he goes through.
cindy-jo- a very beautiful lady that hunts, etc.. off key some imo, but had a great voice and vibrato. she passed though and omg, i cracked up at harry's comments. you had to "be there" haha.
jacob- he was already in a play, playing "jerry lee lewis" (who my mom opened for, back in the day, so that was fun to see).. his singing was OK but he was great on the piano. he even looked like jerry lee, even when just being himself. he got through.
hannah- 16 y/o.. looks 25 or so... sang very well, bluesy strong style.. she goes through..
mark andrew- mousy too but better than most of the mousy men on idol... i say just "mouse" it down some and he will do great. poor guy had NO family there for him. his wife said she had to work and his mom watched the kid. sigh. i know better, but that was their excuse for not going. thats fine. they didnt expect him to go through.
