What will the shorts do? With nearly 40% of ANV shares sold short. The price of gold making a dramatic recovery and will probably continue. I would venture to say they are getting anxious. I'm looking for a buyout offer to happen sometime real soon while the share price is depressed. Remember the Chinese tried to buy ANV last January. Gold Stone Mining Development made a $7.50 per share cash tender offer for ANV which was rejected. John Paulson and George Soros are major investors in ANV. What do they see that the market doesn't? What kind of pps would we see after a short squeeze which very well could happen? Many things to consider. Unless gold prices implode ANV will continue to go up.(IMO)
