CASE DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE
see below...
permantly, over and done with, can't be brought back to court, case becomes res juducata...unnecessary waste of resources in the court system.
MMRF had no problem touting the lawsuits, how about MMRF explaining what the rulings TRULY meant, AND, updating shareholders on how the hot shot legal team will handle this? Are they still on contingency?
How will MMRF pay?
An explanation of OTHER claims is not in this ruling, correct? If wrong, please correct.
case that is dismissed with prejudice means that it is dismissed permanently. A case dismissed with prejudice is over and done with, once and for all, and can't be brought back to court.
the plaintiff (is this MMRF)? would be barred from filing another case on the same claim. Dismissal with prejudice is a final judgment and the case becomes res judicata (see below) on the claims that were or could have been brought in it;
In the case of res judicata, the matter cannot be raised again, either in the same court or in a different court. A court will use res judicata to deny reconsideration of a matter.
The legal concept of res judicata arose as a method of preventing injustice to the parties of a case supposedly finished, but perhaps mostly to avoid unnecessary waste of resources in the court system. Res judicata does not merely prevent future judgments from contradicting earlier ones, but also prevents litigants from multiplying judgments, and confusion.
Like my father always said
"what is there about NO, that you do not understand?"
