You are right. Nothing is forever. Pricing is cyclical. Oil prices will bottom out at some point and then rise again at some point. However, unless something happens to drastically decrease production, it will probably be a long time before it goes up a lot. The US will be producing more in the near future. UAE has stated it will increase production. After sanctions are lifted, Iran will probably sell more. Russia will be producing more oil and gas. Israel will be producing more gas. Other countries are looking to start fracking. Low prices are here to stay for a while. For the forseeable future there will be a very large gap between the price of fossil fuels and biofuels. Countries and companies want to move away from biofuels, but will not do so in a big way as long as this price differential exists.
