Bought a starter position in Trevali. I have been following them for a number of years. They operate the Santander mine in Peru with a zinc/lead/silver output. They are finishing the build on a second mine in Canada that will open in 2015.

Zinc has good fundamentals, with several big producing mines slated to shut down for lack of ore in the next few years. Should support zinc better than many other metals for the near/medium term.

Trevali is a relatively pure play on zinc. These are multi metal mines but their primary output is zinc.

Trevali is profitable and seems to be a good operator.
