Tradition: In the early years, Chubby Glass wanted to have a studio of artists who shared and bounced ideas off of each other in an open environment, much like a school for the lost trade of glass blowing. Many studios at that time were not open to new artists and would not apprentice them in the way that Chubby Glass thought glass blowing should be taught. Chubby artisans love the medium of glass and the way it transforms from solid to liquid and back. They love colour, they love quality, and they guarantee it. Chubby Glass has published artists in magazines, given art shows to the public, had blowers perform live demonstrations, taught classes, taken classes, and above all, kept on teaching and practicing the art of glass blowing.
