That was the default hearing date requested by the plaintiff to rule on damages presented by the plaintiff. The court canceled that hearing because a protective order had been requested by the plaintiff to prevent the subpoena and deposition of a material witness requested by Airtrona's defense. So at this point, if the parties cannot agree on a settlement, it will go to trial if the plaintiff can afford to take it further. Keep in mind that this case has been dragging on for quite a while, since Aug 2013. I'm sure plenty of money has been spent on attorneys to date so I doubt either party wants this to go to trial. So it's anyone's guess as to when the case closes. I thought perhaps that someone might have heard something when it ran on Friday.
