HARRISBURG -- Red and black heart-shaped balloons, Teddy bears and a sign with hand-written messages like, "Love Mom always" and "Gone but not forgotten" adorned a tree on the first block of South 16th Street in Harrisburg.
This is the site where Harrisburg police say 23-year-old Aquan Kemper became the city's first homicide victim of 2015 on Friday.
And a short drive away on the 600 block of Boas Street, there was no apparent memorial at a large apartment building where 27-year-old Shalamar Greenhowe was found dead Saturday, but police are investigating both, and have a warrant out for the arrest Greenhowe's husband, Phillip D. Greenhowe, 35, of Harrisburg.

Police have charged Phillip Greenhowe with criminal homicide. He is considered to be extremely dangerous, and anyone who sees him should call the police.
Officers belive he is driving a dark blue 2004 Chevy Tahoe with the Pennsylvania license plate HWZ-4292.
Anyone with information should contact Detective Ryan Neal, 717-255-7299 or Sgt. Terry Wealand, 717-255-3115. They can be reached via email at rneal@cityofhbg.com and twealand@cityofhbg.com.
And anyone with information regarding the shooting of Kemper should contact Wealand or Detective Joseph Zimmerman, 717-255-3180, or Officer Paula Trovy, 717-255-3158, both of whom can also be reached at jzimmerman@cityofhbg.com and ptrovy@cityofhbg.com.
Police say around 4:47 p.m. Friday, they received a report of man who was shot in a house on the first block of South 16th Street. Officers responded and found Kemper dead of an apparent gunshot wound.
Police have not yet identified a suspect.
