I will reply to your informative post, and instead of posting a self induced statement that AIVI is gold while still not addressing your the main concern ( for this instance, Quantum Dots ), i will instead actually answer your request to give some thoughts and concerns on how this QD technology might affect AIVI/OLED's. ( I am seriously invested in AIVI and have been here for a little over 2yrs, I posted here a while back with a simular brainstorm request and got nothing ).

Here is my 2 cents:
We need to know the Pros and Cons of OLED vs QD.
if QD's are better in most or all catagories ( for example true color, cost, power consumption and what I think is the most important flexible capability ), than we should be some what concerned. It is true that AIVI was already bringing in profits of 18M USD before the 3-phase OLED development, which the company quoted estimates of 100M USD profit from the OLED side alone. There profits from other means in the company are improving, such as the health chair line. If they do even mediocre in sales and return to market it is my opinion the PPS will increase significantly. BUT the introduction of QD,s could easily steal the lime light away from such a glorious return by AIVI in th OLED Genre. Before big money gets committed to such an effort ( like the OLED development by AIVI ), you can be assured a lot of research was done that gives an accurate out look at least in the 10yr to maybe 15-20yr range. There would have to be some fast acting developments within QD,s to have in take a bite out of the demand, but it is my opinion still, that it could steal some of AIVI,s potential.

Once again we should all look deeper into the PROS and CONS of each and see what OLED,s are up against. I will do my part.

Thanks for the intelligent post, and for using using these forums for what they are ment for..the exchange of useful information instead of constant self propelled motivation that could mislead a once disciplined investor.
