Broker Husband to wife: Looks like BCIT is awakening from a deep sleep. This is impossible. I paid off all the right people and they promised me that BCIT could never come back to life. They also said, this mess would never come back on me but the brokerage lied to me and now everybody in my dept. are scrambling to save their own skins. It's crazy in the office. Brokers are walking around like zombies. Everybody who shorted BCIT are frightened half to death just thinking about what could happen to them personally.
Wife: What?!?! How did YOU let this happen?? Your arrogance got the better of you again, didn't it!
Broker Husband: We're really in trouble. All the money I have misappropriated from BCIT through naked shorting is coming back to haunt us.
Wife: What do you mean by US?!?! You mean YOU, don't you?? We are now going to lose the yacht, the cars, the houses, and our lifestyle??
Broker Husband: Worse than that....I am probably going to go to jail for a very long time........ and you and the kids will probably be living out of a motel 6 somewhere and will have to apply for Section 8 housing, food stamps, and public assistance just to get by from day to day.
Wife: Good luck with that buster.......you're on your own.....and to add to your misery, I'm filing for Divorce!!!
