Sorry,I've never heard a good manager of one's money ever taking that approach. And I've read a ton of books on the subject.

Usually there are guidelines and thresholds one would like to adhere to in order to maximize or even protect one's investment.

I may have violated mine when sticking with this thing.

The 13 to 1 RS put in me a serious hole.

Do you know what DECN's share price would be right now if the RS hadn't occurred?

Wouldn't that be important to know if " the value of the shares will take care of itself" actually is working out?
