Why do you think the discussion of batteries has come up?
SPWR talking batteries. SLTD talking batteries. Tesla/SCTY talking batteries.
They are talking about going off grid because governments have been bought out by the fossil fuel people and putting fees/restrictions on accessing the grid.
They call you freeloaders for using THEIR grid.
So they are looking at cutting themselves off the grid.
The coal people call solar users freeloaders. They say that you can't survive off the grid. Real FUD! You can't even eat off the grid... :-0
So when you talk about cutting off the grid, that say "you can't"!
Then it scares the utilities to death.
1 in 5 homes in Australia are on solar. And if they pull garbage, they are talking disconnecting from the grid...
I sure would love to be in the .1% off the grid.
