I blame him because he is not creative. He has all this pitching, and we can't get a SS, it is so painfully obvious. I'm not even asking for an all world player, I'm asking for him to address the most obvious need since he let reyes go, which was another mistake, because he didn't sign him, so he should of traded him at the deadline if he had no intention of keeping him.

Ownership bare the brunt of this, don't get me wrong, but make room to get a SS. Trade Gee, and Use that money to sign drew. I'm not even asking them to add payroll.

Trade for Brad Miller, offer them a pitching prospect like Montero and Den dekker for him that should be enough. None of this will cost adding to payroll.

Heck even if you can't do that play Matt Reynolds he hit 340 last year in the minors. There are so many options heck play tejada at SS for crying out loud. The idea that it is great to put a subpar SS with a subpar 2b defensively together and say that is the answer on a team built on young pitching is all on him. Nobody thinks flores can play SS, I question whether he can actually hit, I no he can't field. Murphy can hit so he offsets his bad defense with good offense. but you can't have two bad fielders at part of your DP combination that just doesn't make any sense.
