Glassware on a chip is not for today.....but tomorrow. Its a bold, yet attainable vision. Glassware on a linux or future cheap (free?) open source operating system within a cheap hunk of plastic (dumb terminal) and screen would bring the price of a new age PC down to pennies on the dollar. Glassware would replicate the needs and turn it into the makings of a never outdated supercomputer.

Pete was correct with his recent post questioning the benefits of "Glassware on a chip" in the current environment. With what Sphere is currently doing (selling), Glassware on the back end server side of the equation is much more efficient. The chip tech is for next generation computing. Imo. Props to Pete for putting the pieces of the puzzle together and questioning the fit.
