First post here. After looking at the picture of the aerogel above I began thinking how this material along with graphene could be used to make lighter but stronger running shoes. As fro graohene, maybe it could be used to make stronger and safer sports equipment, like football, hockey, and baseball helmets along with other protective equipment. I know this kind of dumb downs plenty of the technical applications for graphene, but Im just a regular guy and this is the first thing to pop into my head..loking forward to using this site as a learning tool..I like to thank Clearsudden for sharing this link with me. .I am excited to be able to get in on the groundfloor of something thst could have world changing applications...looking for soldid companies to invest in as well as learning everything that I can learn from the mining and quality of graphite to who the strongest buyers (indusrty) of graphite will be or are..I also think finding out who has the most patents either issued or pending will be some o/ the big players down the road, IP is the biggest asset at this stage..IBM has many patents at this stage along with many other largecap companies..this is such a great board for learning and more iportsntly sharing any breakthroughs in this indusrty. .looking forward to reading up on past post.
thanks again everyone here, especially cs.
Peace, patience, and prosperity to all.
