Turning Japanese....DC What do you make of the makeup of the AMDL Diagnostics/Shells with Mac involved... The Tempe connection between William, and Gregg is more than a coincidence..The timing is also non coincidental....The skeptic in Cali has nothing better to do then attack mac and the messenger you understand from down under..No pun intended...There is a reason Greeg is not practicing law in Arizona..No conflict of interest..imo....Ahooololooooooo...Wolf Pack with Mac..

Gregg C. Johnson & Director & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Johnson comes to Summit Capital having had a distinguished career in law and business over the past 20 years. Mr. Johnson is a lawyer (not admitted in AZ) with extensive experience in management of entrepreneurial companies. He received his law degree in 1988 from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Canada and was admitted as a lawyer in Alberta Canada in 1989. His extensive legal career includes private practice in Tokyo, Japan with Aoki, Christensen & Nomoto (now Baker & McKenzie), where his practice focused on Japanese securities regulation and international debt instruments, and in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with the Law Offices of Dr. Mujahid M. Al-Sawwaf, where he acted as Outside Middle East Counsel to many fortune 500 companies. Mr. Johnson’s career has included experience in corporate finance, merchant banking and venture capital for emerging growth companies across Canada and the United States.

Mr. Johnson has been instrumental in building and growing many successful companies over the past 20 years, and he has been an officer and director of numerous Canadian and U.S. public companies over his career. Additionally Mr. Johnson was elected as a Councillor and later Mayor of Red Deer County, AB from October 1998 to October 2004. In October 2004, Mr. Johnson was appointed as an Appeals Commissioner (Administrative Law Judge) with the Alberta Appeals Commission where he served part-time until April 2007. Through Summit Capital Mr. Johnson has been seconded to positions as an officer and director of numerous small to mid-sized public companies. He has held key executive management rolls in many high-growth enterprises across a wide variety of industries and in these roles Mr. Johnson has actively managed and guided the growth paths for many client companies, including the transition of many clients into the public domain through an IPO or reverse merger process.

Cheryl L. McRobbie – Director & Secretary

Cheryl is a life-long resident of Red Deer, AB. After completing her public school education in Red Deer, Cheryl attended The Northern Alberta Institute of technology where she graduated with a diploma in Chemical Technology. Since 1988 Cheryl has practiced in the petro-chemical field including employment with Nova Chemicals where she worked in the poly and alpha-olefin laboratory. Cheryl became a Director and Secretary of Summit Capital Corp. in 1995.

Guy H. Johnson – Chief Financial Officer

Guy comes to Summit Capital from a distinguished business career in the manufacturing sector. Mr. Johnson became a Chartered Accountant after serving his articles in Lethbridge, AB in the 1960’s. He worked for an extended period of time with Travelaire Trailer Mfg. Co. of Red Deer, AB until its sale to Glendale Industries. Thereafter Mr. Johnson held various senior positions with companies, including New Flyer Industries of Winnipeg, MB where he retired as the company’s President. Mr. Johnson has a reputation as a turn-around specialist he brings a lifetime of financial experience to Summit where he joined as our CFO in 2009.

Kimberly B. Walker – Analyst (Energy and Technology)

Mr. Walker comes to Summit with a broad experience in the fields of technology, telecommunications and Energy. In the 1980’s Mr. Walker began his business career when he founded Heaven Sent Satellite Systems, a retailer of home satellite entertainment systems. Mr. Walker later founded Sat-Tel Corporation to develop advanced products and services in the field of satellite and wireless communication. Mr. Walker transitioned SAT-TEL from a small satellite TV, phone, and data provider to a company specializing in satellite and wireless technologies. Under Mr. Walker’s guidance, SAT-TEL became a key player in industrial monitoring applications and also came to be known as Canada’s first Internet compression service provider, focused on both wireless and satellite applications. Sat-Tel went public in 1999 with a listing on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX: SAT) and it later merged with IROC Energy Services (TSX: IRC) in 2002. Mr. Walker remained with IROC where he operated the company’s S.M.A.R.T division providing real-time remote field sensing systems for environmental compliance in the energy sector. After leaving IROC in 2007 Mr. Walker pursued various energy and technology ventures across Alberta and Africa where he has worked on several large civil engineering and energy projects.

Dennis G. Featherstone – Analyst (Energy and Energy Services)

Mr. Featherstone has had a long and distinguished career in the energy sector beginning in 1985 when he founded and operated IROC H2S Consulting Ltd., a private oil and gas safety services company. Mr. Featherstone worked on oil & gas drill sites across Western Canada where he provided essential safety services, including H2S safety compliance on sour oil and gas wells. IROC went public on the TSX venture exchange in 2001 and the company was later bought in a friendly take-over and renamed IROC Energy Services (TSX: IRC) in early 2002. Mr. Featherstone remained with IROC for a number of years before leaving in 2006 to provide independent energy consulting services to many large oil and gas producers in the U.S. and Canada.

Jeffrey S. Dawson – Analyst (Retail and Special Situations)

Mr. Dawson joins Summit Capital after a 25 year career in the Business-to-Business (B2B) Sales sector where he has owned and operated small businesses including the Red Deer franchises of Val-Pak and Dollar/Thrifty Rent-a-Car. Mr. Dawson also served for 12 years as an elected official on the Municipal Council of the City of Red Deer where he also held various positions in Municipal Government Boards and Committees. Mr. Dawson has a keen sense of business and is adept at picking out winning retail sales opportunities. Mr. Dawson heads or our Retail Analytics section.
