Yes and no.

On one hand, it's a material event that should be made known to shareholders of the companies involved, so I'm surprised none of the companies involved made their own announcements.

On the other, all the companies involved are crap and don't give a rat's ass about shareholders or their fiduciary duty to them, so I wouldn't necessarily expect them to.

You can lead a horse to water. But you can't make him get down on one knee and do an Al Jolson impression!
