I like the trade from SDP perspective just another player with potential brought in. This team could be very good. I really love what the padres have done this off season. They are really trying to improve the team, have to love when a GM does that.

Too bad I'm stuck with a gm who think it is acceptable year after year to put the stuff out at SS. More importantly Flores and Murphy will make the worst middle infield defensively in the league with a team built on pitching. He and management continues to shows us that they don't care. I want Drew so badly, he will probably get a 1 year deal for about 5 million-6 million and will be too much for the mets blood. He would stabilize the defense which to me is far more important if your team is pitching based like the mets. You can't sell me your built on pitching then go out and put perhaps the worst defensive middle infield in the league together.

Hopefully drew sign a 1/10 MIllion deal, so I don't have to be irritated. And say he got paid too much in my opinion.
