Lying, stealing, murder are all unethical. "applied ethics or professional ethics that examines ethical principles and moral or ethical problems that arise in a business environment." Round and round we go. "It applies to all aspects of business conduct and is relevant to the conduct of individuals and entire organizations"? That's a circular definition.

I am not impressed. Do not lie, cheat, or steal. Nobody can accuse me of any of these. Not spending corporate resources to announce that we are waiting for things to happen, things that are not legally disclosable, that is as ethical as it gets. Turning down a merger because it would result in a huge R/S? I'd do it again. Would you rather have a two dollar stock but have only one share where you previously had 4000? If that is ethical I'll eat my hat.

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot
strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot bring on
prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot lift the wage earner
up by pulling the wage payer down.
