Vencor's site said they were producing 7 tons per hour at this time. If they do a double shift, they can knock out that 3000 ton order in a month and a half! Work 3 shifts and it can be filled in one month! I am concerned that the big order (50,000 per year) will be awarded to another supplier if we don't get with it NOW. That's no doubt why MM enlisted Vencor's help.........at least until we (Vega) gets the plant(s) up and running. I don't know this but I suspect the Allendale plant will have enough room in it that we can install another torrefaction unit (or two) and really get turning out those pellets! BTW, there's a rail spur right across the road from the Allendale site on Collum Lumber property...............runs right to Port Savannah! (I followed it on Google Earth all the way! I know, I need to get a life.
