Seems like they're bolting on nVidia GPUs for more FP horsepower.

1) Couldn't you do the same thing with an Intel CPU?
2) I thought that nVidia and AMD were stuck on older processors for their GPUs - Intel continues to add GPU/FP horsepower to their processors; won't these be more efficient?
