It's not a piece of crap. It's all preference. Some want to control the sterile field and don't mind 3D glasses. I am more of a nuisance to my OR staff because I hog instruments so I have easy access to them because I want to be "in control". This can create other problems. I prefer full emersion for better accuracy and dexterity. This is why Intuitive sent the survey to all robotically trained surgeons to compare the 3 companies SS platform. So let's see what the "customers" want going forward. It doesn't matter what a few high status surgeons think. What do the masses want especially the younger surgeons? General Surgery training has changed a lot over the past 10 years and simulation training is now required. The technology with the best simulation and training will win. IMHO
