thanks. For stocks already trending down, I totally agree it is less risk and better rewards over all. Provided the stock has the ability to rise, which goes without saying.
Speaking about SDRL, I just entered a position yesterday at $12 based on your method, or rather a milder version of your method.
I based on weekly execution since June 2014: anything above $11.86 would have gotten SDRL back into the hold zone, and that was enough for me to give it a shot. The volume was not to be ignored.
If I am not mistaken, you would want enter around 14.09.
