What did you see?

What did you see at HQ that told you they are 'totally broke'? They still have lots of cash on the balance sheet so they should not look destitute. The problem is that they are going to be losing all kinds of money with the decline in oil prices plus the wells where they pledged production to pay off the drilling costs first are going to take longer to pay off, leaving them with a less than expected daily production on those wells when they finally are able to take over the whole well.
