While you are correct, I was referring not to the "Market Order" residual
but to the "Buy/Sell Advice" column of the Lichello spreadsheet. That
amount is the difference between the PC and Stock Value. It's not yet had
the SAFE factored in.
If I understand Ocroft's methods, he would prefer that the delayed
accumulation of actual shares be executed when there is no longer any
difference between Stock Value and Portfolio Control value. (this is
after the virtual buy trades have bumped up PC value a number of times
in a downtrend)
In Newport it can be check in the "What If" window. But, now that I think
about it, one can also access the Portfolio Control information with
"Shift+F4" and jot that number down for comparison to the Stock Value.
After a downward trend (with no AIM actual buys, but accumulated
information on buying and consequent Portf Control upward adjustment)
one can then check the PC vs Stock Value and when they are equal, enter
the accumulated Buy order and satisfy the Ocroft concept.
