The Ojo videophone failed because it was incompatible with cell phones and laptops, and because the manufacturer was bankrupt.
The VOIP app failed because the market is already saturated with about a thousand other VOIP apps, because Google and Skype offer VOIP and VVOIP for free, and because the lack of marketing to promote and differentiate their product.
Pervasip real business strategy for the past 4 years was to REDUCE ITS DEBT.
Since the company's operation side was not generating any profits (and losing $1.5M more a year),
the only recourse was to sell share, and to dilute all shareholders to oblivion, which is what they did.
Alas the debt is far from gone, Pervasip still owe about $10M. And there is still a lot of convertible debt in the pipeline, including a contractually obligated reverse Split.
I'm not sure what is Pervasip's current business plan, last 10-Q say
