MMs do not carry an inventory of every stock listed in pinksheets. Most of the time, they need to sell (or buy) shares that they do not own. They will settle up with another MM who has the shares within the T+3 settlement period.

I do know how this works...you obviously do not, or refuse to acknowledge that you know.

If you don't know I suggest to do some research on how MMs work. Or do what I did a long time ago and call one of them and ask them about their business. Some can be quite nice if you're nice to them.
