I just knew something was wrong when the FDA sent a clear warning shot across the bow about optinase this close to PDUFA and the stock didn't budge - in normal situations it should have dropped 10%-30% on what might be a CRL. Obviously the street was aware that a buyout was on the table, pps movement proves that - congrats to those who held!
Wishing the same for my longest held bio, POZN, on PA approval in a few weeks, still might happen - they broke up with their distribution partner Sanofi, now have to find another - or perhaps someone is looking to buy them too, which makes sense - company has no pipeline, cut staff to the bone, was only going to be a holding company distributing a cut of the profits to shareholders. Market didn't like the news yesterday, down -20% (recall same did not happen when AVNR got bad news), but up 10% today, although on low volume.
