As a general rule I agree, but with this stock with its corrupt/crooked mm's, many times in the past we have seen suspicious upward stock movement in an anticipation of a cc, meeting or any rumor of anything positive whether it is the CEO or for that matter anyone else who will be speaking.
Then when nothing is said at the event, the mm's take down the price to where it was before it started up and in many cases below that.
