OT: You can try a signal booster

.....thanks.....I'll look into that. I got to get the ladder out and see how strong the signal is on the old antenna mount attached to my chimney. If it's strong up there, these boosters should work well. It seems to improve dramatically away from the fireplace wall.....but still could be better.
