They raised a couple hundred grand...and if converted, they don't have to pay the principal...just the interest.

While they could have made an offering below market to raise that money too, and the results may have been one of less fearfulness...

...the convertible debt, while in large quantities could be toxic (as any debt is), is really negligible.

Their timing was bad because it coincided with tax loss selling...and so now you have fear selling.

Whatever.
