I wonder if these are cannibalizing tablets or higher-end PCs? I suspect tablets.


Intel tapped into a market segment with netbooks, aimed at people looking for low-cost devices with keyboard input. Intel later lost this market to cheap AMD laptops, and probably some tablets. That demand is snapping back with Chromebooks and Bay Trail based laptops.
