Most people own some BRK.A and/or BRK.B via mutual funds - particularly index funds but also in managed funds.

For example, on any given day one can look at their SP500 index fund balance and calculate (approximately) how many shares of Exxon or Google they own via that fund.

For managed funds their portfolios are often available quarterly online or in their annual report to fund shareholders.
