Body found near scene of Michael Brown shooting

FERGUSON, MO (CNN) - Missouri police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a Ferguson neighborhood Tuesday morning.

During an afternoon news conference, police could not rule out if the body was related to Monday night's riots. According to the Saint Louis Post-Dispatch and several local media reports, the body was discovered in a white car. The driver's side window appears to be shot out. Someone spotted the unresponsive man and notified police. The cause of death is under investigation.

The area is not far from the apartment complex where Michael Brown was killed Aug. 9.

Not mentioned... The body was allegedly partially burned and the car was parked close to the Canfield Apts where Dorian Johnson lives.
