You summed it up well.
I know many black people whom would say the same thing.
I have worked for some that play the victim card and others who know who they are.



Perfect example .............

I had one job where I gave this black couple the ability to go to my paint store I had an account at and buy paint at my contractor costs to help them out.

They didn't even thank me.

I do this for all my clients instead of marking up materials like other contractors I try to treat people the way I want to be treated getting work done in your home is expensive enough with out mark ups or paying retail ridiculous paint store prices.

I called the store gave them the name of my client and told them they are on the way.

She comes back to the house starts whining about how they couldn't mix her paint right away and it might be tomorrow before they can get to it.

She says it must be a black thing.

Right then and there I threw my job referral away cause it means nothing to me when crap like that is said.

I told her hold on. It has nothing to do with your skin color.

Many times I have to wait till the next day or come back later in the day. If they have clients ahead of you to mix custom colors it takes time.

She wasn't to happy with my response but I'm not going to stand there being a part of that victim crap.

White or black matters not sometimes you got to wait that's a fact so don't be playing the victim card.

Your money spends the same way they don't give a rip what color you are.
