"commercial pilots reported seeing drones flying around JFK International Airport this past week, according to a published report.

The first report came just after 8 p.m. Sunday, according to CBS 2 New York. Pilots of Delta and Virgin Atlantic flights reported seeing drones flying at an altitude between 2,000 and 3,000 feet 10 miles from a JFK airport runway, the Federal Aviation Administration told the news station.

Another report came several days later on Wednesday around 1:50 p.m., the report said. A JetBlue pilot alerted the FAA after seeing a drone about two miles from Runway 31 Right, according to CBS."
