Here Are 5 Big Things Paul Krugman Says He Got Wrong Over The Years .. VIDEO ..
Nov. 19, 2014, 6:59 AM
New York Times columnist and Princeton economist Paul Krugman recounts the economic predictions he's gotten wrong and what he has learned in the process.
1. missed seeing the high tech productivity boom coming 2. thought, about 2000, America could have had a fiscal crisis like Greece .. it was a gut, know he realizes he should have gone with the models 3. didn't see the devastation coming from the US housing bubble .. now he accepts he should have paid more attention to household debt, and he had no idea how fragile the financial system was 4. thought the Euro would fall apart, not because of the economics, but he underestimated the tenacity of the elites in holding it all together 5. underestimated Mario Draghi's ability to hold it all together ..
some of those words his, they are closely paraphrased .. chuckle, i thought it could be a bit of palliative for some of us who do make mistakes as Paul does to have Krugman's Misteaks .. http://krugman.blogs.nytimes.com/2014/11/19/misteaks/ .. here in the fresh air ..
