Those CO detectors are usually accurate. Even though folks cant smell or tell anything. I remember about 10-12 yrs ago a local business man here in Columbus was going out to a dinner meeting. His carbon monoxide detector was going off. He thought it was like a smoke detector and beeped when the batteries were low. He unplugged it and left to go to the dinner meeting. He came home later to find his wife and children had died of carbon monoxide poisoning. Very sad thing to happen to a family. But he didn't know how the detector worked.
