The paint ( 1000 shares at 9 ) lasted only a very few minutes — before the 100K buy at 9.

The paint was exactly 1000 — at 9 — at 12:02., after that came the 100,000 buy at 9.

All watched thru Schwab, and who knows how accurate Schwab really is anyway ?

Seriously though, why paint at the bid ? ...... Paints are done at ask almost always.

No big deal. ...... No one would have painted at the bid of 8 . ...... The stock was already trading at 8, so why waste the $7.95 commission on top of the 80¢ for 1000 shares of the stock ?
