The friend might well be advised to ask the doc about PD-1 + Yervoy combination trials. There has been some great data coming out in this area, and nivolumab+Yervoy will likely be the SOC in the not to distant future.

Not saying to avoid PPHM's trial. I would enroll in that vs just taking Yervoy (the present SOC). Maybe Bavi works there, maybe not. But worst case is you get SOC with top notch care.
